Michael Licari is the Managing Partner and a founding partner at D’Egidio Licari Townsend & Shah. Mr. Licari has won numerous awards for his work in business and real estate litigation. His accolades include being selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star two years in a row, Best of the Bar in San Diego, and The Daily Transcript’s Young Attorney of the Year finalist.
Mr. Licari has represented hundreds of businesses in complex litigation matters both domestically and internationally in all areas of litigation and business including intellectual property disputes, contract disagreements, shareholder lawsuits, real estate and construction matters, and the defense of labor and employment cases. Mr. Licari’s typical case involves multiple parties and millions of dollars in damages in the hospitality, restaurant, finance, construction, transportation, real estate, and sports and entertainment industries.
After serving four years in the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Licari received his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science and his Masters of Science in Criminology at Fresno State University. After leaving Fresno, Michael attended the University of San Diego School of Law where he graduated with his Juris Doctor in 2009. While in law school, Mr. Licari was on the International Law Journal as a comment editor and also was an award-winning member of the USD Mock Trial Team.
